Mughlai Beef with Rich Gravy
Serves 4-5
Recipe in English:
Ingredients:
-Water 1 & ½ Cup or as required
-Haldi powder (Turmeric powder) ½ tsp
-Namak (Salt) 1 tsp or to taste
-Adrak lehsan paste (Ginger garlic paste) 2 tbs
-Boneless beef cubes ½ kg
-Kaju (Cashew nuts) 15-20
-Khopra (Desiccated coconut) 2 tbs
-Hari mirch (Green chilli) 2
-Hara dhania (Fresh coriander) 2 tbs
-Podina (Mint leaves) 1 tbs
-Lemon juice 2 tbs
-Water 2 tbs or as required
-Dahi (Yogurt) 1 Cup
-Cream ½ Cup
-Zeera (Cumin seeds) roasted & crushed 1 tsp
-Lal mirch powder (Red chilli powder) ½ tbs or to taste
-Dhania powder (Coriander powder) ½ tbs
-Garam masala powder 1 tsp
-Karahi masala 1 tbs
-Cooking oil ¼ Cup
-Cooking oil 2-3 tbs
-Pyaz (Onion) sliced 1 medium
-Water ¼ Cup or as required
-Kasuri meethi (Dried fenugreek leaves) ½ tbs
-Hara dhania (Fresh coriander) chopped
Directions:
-In pressure cooker,add water,turmeric powder,salt,ginger garlic paste and mix well.
-Add beef,mix well and bring it to boil,cover and pressure cook for 15-20 minutes or until meat is tender then cook on high flame until water dries up & set aside.
-In spice mixer,add cashew nuts,dessicated coconut,green chillies,fresh coriander,mint leaves,lemon juice and water,blend well & set aside.
-In a bowl,add yogurt,cream,ground cashew paste,cumin seeds,red chilli powder,coriander powder, garam masala powder,karahi kabab masala and whisk well.
-Now add cooked beef cubes and mix well.
-In pot,add cooking oil and fry beef cubes from all sides until golden brown (4-5 minutes) & set aside (reserve remaining marinade for later use).
-In the same pot,add cooking oil,onion and fry until light golden.
-Now add reserved marinade and mix well.
-Add water and mix well,cover and cook on low flame for 4-5 minutes & keep mixing in between.
-Add dried fenugreek leaves and mix well.
-Now add fried beef cubes and give it a good mix.
-Garnish with fresh coriander & serve!

-Pressure cooker mein pani,haldi powder,namak aur adrak lehsan paste dal ker ache tarhan mix ker lein.
-Beef dal ker mix karein aur ubal anay ka bad dhak dein aur 15-20 minutes ya gosht gul janay tak pressure cook ker lein phir tez ancch per pani sukh janay tak paka lein & side per rakh dein.
-Spice mixer mein kaju,khopra,hari mirchein,hara dhania,podina,lemon juice aur pani dal ker ache tarhan blend ker lein & side per rakh dein.
-Bowl mein dahi,cream,groud kaju paste,zeera,lal mirch powder,dhania powder,garam masala powder aur karahi kabab masala dal ker ache tarhan whisk ker lein.
-Ab cooked beef cubes dal ker ache tarhan mix ker lein.
-Pot mein cooking oil dal dein aur beef cubes ko tamam sides sa golden brown huany tak fry ker lein (4-5 minutes) & side per rakh dein (remaining marinade ko bad mein use kernay kliya side per rakh dein).
-Us he pot mein cooking oil aur pyaz dal dein aur light golden hunay tak fry ker lein.
-Ab reserved marinade dal ker ache tarhan mix ker lein.
-Pani dal ker ache tarhan mix karein aur dhak ker halki ancch per 4-5 minutes kliya paka lein aur bech bech mein chamcha chalatay rahein.
-Kasuri meethi dal ker mix ker lein.
-Ab fried beef cubes dal ker ache tarhan mix ker lein.
-Hara dhania sa garnish ker ka serve karein!
